Privacy Policy

Effective July 31, 2026. Last updated July 31, 2026.

The short version: our applications keep what you enter on your own device. We do not operate account servers, we have not built any advertising or analytics tracking into our apps, and we do not sell information about you to anyone. The longer version follows, and it is specific rather than boilerplate — if something changes, this page changes with it.

Who this covers

This policy is issued by Moonshine Nexus LLC, a limited liability company located in Byron Center, Michigan, United States. It covers this website (moonshine-nexus.com) and the mobile applications we publish, including ContraCrew, which is currently in private pre-release development.

This website

The site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, has no login, no comment system, no forms, and no advertising. It loads no fonts, scripts, or images from anyone else's servers — everything the page needs is served from this domain.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As part of delivering and protecting the site, Cloudflare processes standard request information such as your IP address, the page you requested, and your browser's user-agent string. We also have Cloudflare Web Analytics enabled, which reports aggregate visit counts, page paths, referrers, and coarse country/browser/device breakdowns. Cloudflare Web Analytics uses no cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track people across other websites. We use it to know which pages get read. We cannot identify you from it.

Your choices on the website

Because nothing is stored on your device by us and nothing identifies you, there is no tracking to opt out of. Blocking JavaScript will stop the analytics beacon and the site will work normally without it.

Our applications

This section describes ContraCrew as it exists today, in pre-release testing.

What the app stores, and where

ContraCrew lets you build a card describing your trade — for example your name, the trades you work in, your general location, your current availability, licenses or certificates you hold, and contact details you choose to share. You may also save other people's cards.

All of it is written to storage on your own phone. The current build has no backend: there is no Moonshine Nexus server that receives your card, no account is created with us, and nothing you type is transmitted to us. Two consequences worth being plain about — your information is exactly as private as your device, and it does not sync between devices or survive uninstalling the app.

What the app does not do

When you tap a phone number, email address, or website on a card, your phone's own dialer, mail app, or browser opens. We are not part of that conversation and do not log that it happened.

When this changes

ContraCrew is being built toward a networked product — a directory is not useful if it only contains you. When we add accounts and a server, the app will begin transmitting the card information you have chosen to publish. We will update this policy, and say what changed, before any release that sends your information off your device. Testers will be told directly.

If you email us

When you write to us we receive your email address, your message, and whatever you put in it. Our mail is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to a private mailbox. We keep correspondence as long as we need it to answer you and to maintain a record of support requests, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Keeping and deleting your information

Because the app's data lives on your device, you control it directly:

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them. We honor those requests at the address above regardless of where you live, and we do not charge for them.

Children

Our applications are built for adults working in the construction trades. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

Service providers

We keep this list short on purpose, and it is complete:

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes — particularly any change in what leaves your device — will be described plainly rather than folded silently into the text.
